Caribe Towers is located at 3231-65 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140. This multifamily development provides 57 units of affordable housing to low-income seniors 62 and over. This development is the third of four sites that comprise the Caribe Development Zone in the St. Hugh Neighborhood. Caribe Towers offers an ideal location and is designed to meet the special needs of elderly residents as they age in the community. This property offers coin operated laundry facilities, a furnished community room, which can accommodate 75 persons, a spacious lobby and intercom access security.

The adaptive design of Caribe Towers and our Resident Services Program aims to provide a supportive environment to accommodate the needs of our residents as they age. Our objective is to link our residents to services available in the community and region to enable them to age-in-place for as long as possible to reduce the incidence of premature institutionalization and provide support as they age in their community with dignity.

This multifamily housing development was completed in 2005 with support from: US Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 202 Program, Division of Housing and Community Development, Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Local Initiatives Support Corporation and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh.
